Teeling Silver Reserve 21 Year Old Single Malt
Teeling Silver Reserve 21 Year Old Single Malt was the first in Teeling’s Vintage Reserve range of small-batch single malt Irish whiskeys. Initially matured in Bourbon barrels, the Silver Reserve was finished in Sauternes wine casks, the first time this has ever been done with a Irish whiskey.

We visited the Teeling Distillery back in January 2016 and found only seven bottles of this left in their store. While there before our tour, we happened to meet and spend some time John Teeling, an Irish whiskey icon whose son operates the new distillery. His advice: take a bottle home. We did, and we couldn’t be more pleased. The first sip puts you in a leather chair by the fireside in an old English library, flames lighting the room from a nearby fireplace and aromas of old leather bookbindings. An unbelievable dram…
And visiting Teeling distillery tomorrow… this is a blast! This single malt whiskey is quite special, smooth with character, I can’t relate to any scotch I know! Flabbergasted to say the least.
