The Hakushu 10 Year Old is a classic single malt whisky from the renowned Hakushu Distillery, famously located in the lush forests of Japan’s Southern Alps. Known as the “Mountain Forest Distillery,” Hakushu produces whiskies with a signature freshness, gentle smoke, and herbal elegance.
Aged for a decade in carefully selected oak casks, the Hakushu 10 Year Old showcases the distillery’s signature style with its crisp, forest-like character. Perfectly balanced between vibrant fruit, malt sweetness, and subtle peat, it remains a beloved expression for both seasoned collectors and new whisky enthusiasts.
Although no longer in regular production, bottles of this Hakushu have become highly sought after on the secondary market, making it a true collectible for Japanese whisky lovers.

Why did they stop producing this for the UK market. A really complex malt and in my view better than the 12.
