Heavily sherried, smooth and decadent – a lovely after dinner luxury. Whether it’s worth four times the price of a single-cask Glendronach of the same age is a matter of debate, but the market thinks so! How long Macallan can carry on hiking up the prices by 10 percent per annum is an interesting debate to have.

Got this as a gift for my 55th birthday. It is truly the nectars of the gods. Perfect 10 out of 10. I plan on having a dram each birthday going forward until empty. That should last me another 25 years, so it’s a win-win
