7 reviews for Redbreast 21 Year Old 70cl
I’ve recently purchased Middleton Very rare, Barry Crockett, and all the Redbreasts. I’d have to say that my favorites are the RB 15 or the RB 21. Given that that RB 21 is 3.5x the price of the RB 15 in my town (Dallas, TX), I’d have to go for RB15 as the best. If money is no object, then maybe the RB 21, but really, the 15 is fantastic. I’d also recommend the 12 Cask Strength which when watered (or iced) down is truly a bargain. Hilarious bad review below on the 21… I love MoM reviews and love reading from fellow whiskey lovers. Very sorry that the lawyers at MoM say no shipping to TX, but we have our ways (he he).
This is without doubt the best Irish Whiskey (and indeed World Whiskey) I’ve tried to date.
If you like the 12 or 15 year old, it just keeps getting better with the 21. The smoothness and depth continues to improve the flavour and complexity of the whiskey the older it gets. Love every drop of this.
Absolutely one of the best whiskeys for the money. The ending is amazing and can last 30 seconds per sip. Buy a bottle or split one with a good buddy.
May I start off this review by stating a Mr. Valentin rated this 89/100!? Anyway, I don’t like paying $AU400 for a bottle, but here goes! Lovely aroma… it lingers ; a sweet profile that belies its 46%. Nothing outstanding… but nothing un-pleasant. Probably as good Irish Pot-Still as there is, but there are other categories too that are as good within their category at lesser price.
