It’s a really good whisky complex sweet but not as peatid as JW black label which i like
It may not be for everyone but it is certainly the best one for me.
Overpriced. Definitely overpriced. Did I mention overpriced? This whisky is a badge to be worn. So many more superbly complex and infinity tastier drams out there for half the price.
It’s a good blend and I will buy again.
Reasonable nose, but not overpowering. Dried fruits and spice. Some good tastes, but more peat than I remember from a drink I had several years ago. Also, a bit more astringent than I recall. Long finish, which is nice. Some caramel. For the price, there are better whiskies – think Glenmorangie Signet or even the Quinta Ruben at nearly 1/2 the price. However, a decent whisky, although the bottle I have in 2023 was not as good as the one I had in 2019. Perhaps a slight change in ratios or my palate’s altered, but hasn’t kept the standard up as well as — and I keep coming back to it — the Glenmorangie SIgnet at the same price point.
