Two years ago, my dad passed away and I inherited his Baccarat crystal scotch decanter. I decided to christen it with a bottle of scotch I was gifted some 25 years earlier. It was a bottle of Glenfiddich 21 year old, Havana Reserve. At the first glass, I was mesmerized and it was beautiful. the aroma and the taste was so smooth and filled with wonderful vanilla, buttery spices and finish was lasting. I did not know what I had at the time and finished the decanter just before Christmas that year. I Google it later and found out how rare a bottle it was, I would still be sipping it today had I known. This year I am going to try a Glenfiddich 21 year old Grand Reserve, Caribbean Rum cast.
